17th Jan was “Shed Day” we will be attempting to prepare and erect the sheds within the garden - anybody is welcome to join us and come and help.

10th Jan was the first dig of the new year.
The site for the shed was cleared on Saturday - see pics below:

There have been great improvements in the past 2 months in the garden. This is the start of the raised beds

There are also weekly digs on Thursday’s between 5 and 8pm, to enable people who cannot make it at the weekend to come and get involved.

The Garden is Much improved now following 12th July’s Rotivator day! See the before & after pictures below

There is still some clearing to be done, as the ground has a lot of old roots, not to mention bricks and wire to be cleared, which is the result of many years of dumping on the site.

Finally it’s clear!

A lot of rubbish has came out!

There is still
much work to be done, so the more people we have to help the better.
Anyone who would like to come and help is welcome. Just wear some old clothes!

Thank you to everyone who has been involved so far
We would also like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who attended the
Open day.
The day was a great success. Lots of people helped in many different ways, and it all helps the garden.
